Paper Grades - Source of Supply

We have two sources of supply, commercial organisations and local government

Commercial Companies
We collect the waste paper from commercial printers where the material is segregated at source. We install in the customers premises, waste extraction systems designed to sort material into their designated categories. Once the material is collected it is brought back to the sorting plant at Verney Road where contaminated material is removed prior to grading and baling. Many of our customers are compliant with ISO 14001 and we work very closely with them to ensure compliance with all aspects of environmental legislation.

Local government
Very strict guidelines are in place to ensure environmental polices are strictly adhered to with the objective of preventing pollution, harm to human health, reducing environmental impact and where possible providing environmental benefits.

This sustainable waste management policy enables us to implement and sustain a high quality control management system. All material is graded to BS EN 643 standards before it is collected and thereafter it is sorted and checked at our depot prior to baling. This fail-safe system ensures contra material is removed resulting in high quality grades.

The Ideal Waste Paper Co Ltd do not purchase material from other merchants and as such produce our own graded, baled materials to conform to CEPI (Confederation of European Industries) BS:EN643 standards.
